Narahari Dasa
Board Chair
Narahari Dasa joined ISKCON Tucson in 2009, where he began the practice of bhakti-yoga. He received dīkṣā and brāhminical initiation in our paramparā from His Grace Jivananda Dasa Vanacari and is a grand-disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Narahari Dasa continues to serve the temple and community as a teacher, priest, and mentor, with a strong emphasis on deity worship and child protection.
Bimal Roy
(Chakrayudha Das)
Director
Bimal Roy, spiritually known as Chakrayudha Das, is an initiated disciple of His Grace Jivananda Das, having received initiation in 2023. Originally from India, he brings with him a deep-rooted cultural and spiritual appreciation for devotional service.
Since becoming actively involved with ISKCON Tucson, Chakrayudha Das has been a dedicated and enthusiastic servant of the community. He is especially appreciated for preparing delicious prasadam and for his ever-willing spirit to assist devotees in any service needed. His humility, reliability, and cooperative nature have made him a valued member of the congregation.
In 2025, he began serving as a member of the Board of Directors at ISKCON Tucson, where he continues to contribute thoughtfully to the growth and stability of the temple community.
Kirtan Yajna Dasa
Treasurer
Kirtan Yajna Dasa was born in Nepal and joined ISKCON in 2005 in Kathmandu while pursuing his MA at Tribhuvan University. He met devotees from Russia performing saṅkīrtana on the busy streets of Kathmandu and was drawn to Krishna consciousness, subsequently joining the temple as a full-time brahmacārī.
He engaged in book distribution and preaching activities with the Russian devotees under the guidance of His Grace Patri Dasa. Within six months of joining the temple, he was initiated by His Holiness Mahavishnu Swami and went on to serve his spiritual master as a personal secretary for several years.
From 2008, he served as temple president for approximately five years. In 2013, he was invited to the Tucson temple by Sandamini Devi Dasi and joined the community. Since then, he has been actively involved in ISKCON Tucson, serving as a priest and preacher and assisting with fundraising for the temple.
Nitai Niranjana Dasa
Secretary
Nitai Niranjana Dasa is an initiated disciple of His Grace Jivananda Dasa Vanacari, having received initiation in 2025. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Currently serving as a full-time brahmacārī, Nitai Niranjana Dasa is actively engaged in devotional service at Mantra Oasis, an outreach center dedicated to sharing Krishna consciousness. In his role as house manager, he helps oversee daily operations while also contributing to kīrtan, prasādam and book distribution.
